Heather A. Larsen, APRN, CRNA, DNAP
Heather Larsen is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic Rochester. She has a special interest in obstetric anesthesia, maternal-fetal anesthesia for fetal interventions, anesthesia education, and peer support through the Healing the Emotional Lives of Peers (HELP) program. She is also a member of the maternal-fetal anesthesia team and is an obstetrical anesthetist, a specialized team that provides perinatal anesthetic care for obstetric patients.
Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winona State University and her Master of Nurse Anesthesia degree from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. Heather recently completed her Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice degree through Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences’ Post-Graduate degree program in January 2024. She is nationally board certified by the national board of certification & recertification for nurse anesthetists and is licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse by the Minnesota Board of Nursing. She currently holds the academic rank as an Instructor of Anesthesiology in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, Mayo Clinic Rochester.
