Andrew Rice is a POCUS enthusiast and a practicing independent CRNA in West Tennessee with experience in rural anesthesia, perioperative POCUS, acute pain and chronic pain management. He is the current Program Director at Union University, founding partner with Ascend Anesthesia Seminars, and CEO of Streamline Anesthesia. Dr. Rice conducts research on POCUS curriculum development and created the Condensed Anesthesia Sonography Exam (CASE) for teaching and incorporating POCUS into anesthesia training programs and perioperative anesthesia practice. Dr. Rice has been teaching POCUS in hospitals and universities across the country for the past 10 years.
