Zohn Centimole Ph.D., CRNA is an assistant professor and the assistant director of Kentucky’s newest Nurse Anesthesia program in the University of Louisville’s School of Nursing. He has been a nurse anesthesia educator for five years and a practicing CRNA for 18 years. His clinical practice spans from outpatient, remote anesthetics, to major trauma resuscitations, as well as, a large volume of complex cancer care.
His research on individualized, customized anesthesia strategies to optimize patient outcomes in vulnerable individuals has appeared in the AANA Journal and the Journal of Perianesthesia Nursing. In clinical practice, he applies these techniques and trains Nurse Anesthesia Residents to optimize outcomes in frail, elderly, and at-risk individuals. He has presented on the national, regional, state, and departmental levels.
