Use of the Revised Second Victim Experience and Support Tool (SVEST-R) to Examine Second Victim Experiences of Respiratory Therapists (State of the Science Oral Poster Session) (.25 Class A CE)
The AANA Foundation’s State-of-the-Science Oral Poster Session features sixteen CRNAs and RRNAs presenting their research findings classroom-presentation style. Each researcher is given 15 minutes in which to present their research and answer questions. Presentations will be focused in two areas – research and evidence-based projects.

Discuss the concept of respiratory therapists as second victims
Identify three specialty-specific high-risk events that are likely to trigger the second victim experience among respiratory therapists.
Identify the most desired form of support among respiratory therapists as second victims.
