Linda Stone DNP, CRNA has been involved in peer assistance and support for CRNAs and SRNAs with SUD and other wellness-related issues since 2008 at the state and national levels when she became the NC State Peer Advisor (SPA) as well as an AANA Peer Assistance Advisor (AANA PAAC).
Dr. Stone has been a CRNA for over 30 years in clinical practice in a variety of leadership roles and nurse anesthesia education and has observed many wellness-related issues affecting CRNAs and SRNAs including burnout, SUD, and second victim phenomenon.
She continued her graduate education in 2013 graduating Duke University School of Nursing with a DNP as well as a post-doctoral certificate in nursing education in 2015.
Dr. Stone is currently the Program Administrator for the UNC Greensboro DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program
