Lisa has been in pediatric critical care and anesthesia for over 40 years and a full-time nurse anesthesia educator for almost 12 years. She is currently an associate professor and the associate chair of the Samford Nurse Anesthesia Program and maintains a clinical practice at Children's of Alabama. She has publications in the Journal of PeriAnesthesia Nursing related to pediatric airway management and the opioid crisis in children along with a chapter on intussusception in Springer's 2022 Pediatric Anesthesia textbook. Lisa and husband Greg have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
