In 2023, the United Nations implemented a project with the goal of increasing the surgical workforce by providing free online, quality education for all members of the Surgical Team. A CRNA was selected to be a member of the project's content committee, highlighting recognition of the nurse anesthetist global role and the need for inclusion of nurse anesthesia within the project. This session explores the development of the UN Global Surgery Learning Hub, the make-up and responsibilities of its working committees, current status of the Hub courses and opportunities for CRNAs to influence global learning and assist in the expansion of surgical systems in low-income countries by becoming an author for ehub educational courses.
