Jeremy S. Heiner, EdD, CRNA, FAANA

Dr. Heiner has been a CRNA since 2004 and has been an academic and clinical educator at Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia for 16 years. He directed the Simulaton Program for 12 years. He has a passion for teaching airway management and has presented at both state and national meetings on several different airway management related topics. He currently writes the Airway Management chapter in the textbook Nurse Anesthesia.
Dr. Heiner is a co-editor of the 7th edition of Nurse Anesthesia and is one of the primary authors of (1) Emergency Management in Anesthesia and Critical Care; (2) Critical Events in Anesthesia: A Nurse Anesthetist Guide; and (3) Current Anesthesia Practice.
He also enjoys recording and producing The Nurse Anesthesia Podcast for CRNAs and SRNAs. He is one of the Co-founders of the anesthesia education business The Nurse Anesthesia.
He still loves time in the OR on the bag and works in an all CRNA rural practice as well as at two major medical centers in Southern California.
